Hummus with Zaatar and Sumac
Over the years, hummus has become a staple of social gatherings, offering a communal dish that never grows old. There's nothing better than making it yourself !
For 4 people
Ingredients :
-
1 tin of canned chickpeas
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
3 tablespoon of sesame cream
-
juice of half a lemon
-
olive oil
-
A dash of sesame oil
-
1 tablespoon of Albert Ménès zaatar
-
1 tea spoon of Albert Ménès precious sweet paprika
-
1 tea spoon of Albert Ménès whole cumin
-
1 tablespoon of Albert Ménès Sumac Salt Pepper
Preparation :
First, drain the chickpeas.
Then place them in the bowl of a food processor, and add lemon juice, garlic, tahini, spices, salt, and pepper.
Blend the mixture while adding a little bit of water, then transfer to a bowl and whisk in some olive oil until you achieve a creamy consistency.
Serve garnished with a sprinkle of zaatar and sumac.
Tip: prepare some crunchy vegetables for dipping in the hummus before eating, like cherry tomatoes, carrot or cucumber sticks, or even cauliflower.
