Fattoush Salad & Sumac Vinaigrette
Typical of the Lebanese region, fattoush is a fresh salad ideal for summer. A new way to enjoy vegetables.
For 2 people
Preparation time : 10 min
Ingredients :
- 3 medium tomatoes
- 2 medium-sized cucumbers
- 1 heart of lettuce
- 1 glass of radishes
- 1/2 glass fresh mint
- 1 glass Albert Ménès parsley
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ lemon, squeezed
- 1.5 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 1 tbsp Albert Ménès sumac
- Pinch of salt
- Toasted pita bread
Preparation :
First chop the vegetables: cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, radishes and onions. Then chop the parsley and fresh mint. Place the chopped ingredients in a salad bowl.
Toast the pita bread in the oven or in a toaster, then coarsely break up the bread with your fingers and set aside.
In a bowl, make the dressing with the olive oil, squeezed lemon, pomegranate molasses, sumac and a little salt, then mix well. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss.
Finally, add the pieces of bread and gently toss one last time. Serve immediately and enjoy the fattoush with the bread still crunchy !
