Albert Ménès pickled vegetables are prepared in Provence using fresh organic vegetables harvested at the peak of readiness. The vegetables are then carefully chopped and cooked using a sweet and sour recipe from Réunion. According to tradition, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, green beans and onions are delicately seasoned with ginger, garlic and spices and then preserved in a spicy, colourful sauce. The uniqueness of Albert Ménès organic pickled vegetables is the crunchy texture they retain after being pickled.
These organic pickled vegetable are ready to use. They go perfectly with hot or cold meats, whether in exotic curry-based dishes or more traditional European dishes such as a beef stew or beef bourguignon. Often used as a condiment, they spice up mixed salads, cold cuts, toasts or samosas.
