Massalé is a mixture of spices originating from the Reunion Island, where it is used as a base for stews. Its composition includes coriander, cumin, oregano and cloves.
People from Reunion Island enjoy it with chicken, tuna or goat. By extension, dishes cooked with this blend of spices have taken the name of massalé, such as the famous "cabri massalé" (curried goat).
INGREDIENTS: Masala: coriander, fenugreek, turmeric, oregano, cumin, salt, ginger, chili, whole nutmeg, cardamom, whole cloves. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS, SESAME, MUSTARD and celeri.
