Native to Central Asia and known since Ancient Egypt, coriander was recommended for its medicinal properties, notably in Pliny the Elder’s Natural History. Coriander develops an intense floral flavor, both fruity and spicy. Albert Ménès coriander is selected for its flavour quality.
Coriander does not cook well, and should be added to hot dishes just before serving. It is ideal for enhancing the taste of a salad dressing.
