Fine Herbs
€4.30
(12 g) net (€358.33/kg)
In ancient times, the Greeks and Romans were already planting aromatic herbs in their gardens. After the collapse of the Roman Empire, herbs fell into disuse, but they were brought back into the spotlight by Benedictine monks, who were keen gardeners.
A speciality of French gastronomy, this blend of sweet-flavoured herbs does not stand up well to cooking. They should be added to hot dishes just before serving and are ideal for enhancing the flavour of a salad dressing.
INGREDIENTS: parsley, chervil, tarragon, chive. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS, SESAME, MUSTARD and CELERY.
