This recipe preserves the whole fruit to keep intact the fruity taste and melting flesh of the cherry. The very fast cooking of this Albert Ménès Black Cherry Jam and its high fruit content allow to preserve its aromas and all its flavor.
Our black cherry jam is perfect spread on toast, melba toast or pancakes for breakfast or for a snack. In the South West of France, it is traditionally used as an alternative to custard when making a "Basque Cake". It also goes well with sheep's milk cheese.
INGREDIENTS: black cherries, cane sugar, gelling agent : pectins, acidifier : citric acid.
