Our Extra Black Cherry Jam from France is made in an open copper cauldron pot and created by our master jam makers in our kitchens in Provence. This jam has whole pieces of fruit in order to retain the cherry’s fruity taste and melt-in-your-mouth flesh. The fast cooking process and high fruit content in this jam keeps in all the aromas and flavours of the fruit.
Our black cherry jam is perfect spread on toast, melba toast or pancakes for breakfast or for a snack. In the South West of France, it is traditionally used as an alternative to custard when making a "Basque Cake". It also goes well with sheep's milk cheese.
