Harvested by hand on the island of Borneo in Malaysia, it is then dried in the sun and smoked over beech wood for many hours. Albert Ménès selected this pepper for its delicious notes, both powerful and woody. The particular aromas produced by the traditional smoking process enhance this exceptional pepper, which is ideal for summer grilling and barbecuing. The slow diffusion of the beechwood smoke gives this pepper a unique fragrance that enhances its aromatic notes.

The smocked black pepper Albert Ménès goes perfectly with a duck magret, white-fleshed fish, or summer grilled. Grind at the last minute to preserve all the aromas.
