To delight your taste buds, we've gone in search of some pretty figs from Provence, bursting with sunshine and flavour. Unlike jam, fig chutney has a subtle hint of sugar, without overpowering the preparation. So you can enjoy all the flavour of this fruit, with just the right amount for your sweet and savoury dishes. With its high fibre content and flavour that immediately transports us to summer, figs have every reason to be on your table all year round!
Fig confit is an essential accompaniment to foie gras and cheese. You can also try a recipe for duck breast with this real delicacy. At Marcel Senchou, we've come up with a very simple recipe. Grilled toast, a few slices of goat's cheese, topped with thyme and fig confit, and your aperitifs will take you straight back to the South of France!
