Smyrna Raisins
€2.75
(125 g) net (€22.00/kg)
Smyrna and Izmir are one and the same city, one in ancient Anatolia, the other in modern Turkey. Founded in the 11th century by the Greeks, it was constantly coveted due to its location at the gateway to the Black Sea. It was by turns Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Greek before becoming Turkish. The grapes from which these raisins are made, harvested in Turkey, are chosen for their size and sugar content.
Perfect for cooking or baking, these raisins can also be enjoyed with an aperitif or at any time of the day. Children will love their sweet, tangy taste.
INGREDIENTS: Smyrna raisins, vegetable oil. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS.
