PGI Provence Lavender Honey 500g
(500 g) net (€44.40/kg)
With its warm, sweet notes, Albert Ménès Lavender Honey comes from south-eastern France and has a PGI (Protected Geographical Indication). It is entirely produced using traditional methods. Harvesting takes place after the honey flow, when nectar is produced. Pale and slightly milky in colour, Albert Ménès lavender honey is truly exceptional. First of all, its fragrance immediately evokes lavender flower essence and the aromas of Provence. Then its refined taste releases the aromatic notes of this extraordinary honey one by one. This honey is becoming increasingly rare, and we may not be able to satisfy everyone. Honey is a natural product whose texture can crystallise; this does not alter its quality.
Lavender honey is used in many sweet and savoury recipes such as courgette flower fritters, madeleines and strawberry cakes.
