2016 VINTAGE. Harvested by hand from cod caught in the Icelandic seas, the livers are trimmed manually before being smoked over beech wood and cooked in the tin. No oil is added – it is released from the liver naturally during cooking.
Cod liver is a delicate, refined starter, to be enjoyed on small pieces of toast, as an appetiser accompanied by asparagus tips or on a green bean salad seasoned with olive oil and lemon.
