We have used Cherry peppers in this product for their small size and great taste. Cherry peppers have a sweet and mild taste with a slightly spicy kick that contrasts well with the founded taste of the cow’s milk cheese. The peppers are stuffed by hand and then placed in extra virgin olive oil. They have a slightly crunch to them thanks to the addition of slightly sweetened almond flakes. Preserving the peppers in olive oil brings a certain finesse to the product.
A delicious snack or an original way of garnishing mixed salads. Keep hold of the oil in the jar to use for future vinaigrettes.
