WOODY - STRENGTH 5 - STRONG The 40 g Whole Black Peppercorns by La Caravane des Épices are organically grown and certified under IFS and Ecocert standards. Packaged in France, this product is made entirely from natural ingredients. Pepper grows along climbing vines in clusters. Black pepper is made by harvesting the green peppercorns before they are ripe. These are then dried in the sun for several days. These green peppercorns start to get a wrinkled appearance and get their final colour, becoming black peppercorns. The peppercorns are then sorted and graded. The powerful flavour of the black peppercorns can be brought out by grinding them at the last minute. La Caravane des Épices has selected these organic black peppercorns for its superior quality and flavours. This pepper mill is practical for the dinner table and in the kitchen with two openings (at the top and bottom) allowing you to fully appreciate the quality of the freshly ground mix.

This pepper has a powerful and instant spicy kick to it, whilst its aroma remains quite subtle. It is perfect for everyday use to season grilled and barbecued meats. Goes perfectly with hanger steak, pork belly, sauced-based dishes, red meats, terrines, cream soups and vegetable soups
