(125 g) net (€22.00/kg)
Marco Polo mentioned coconut in his accounts of his travels, describing it as a delicious fruit, white as milk and sweet as sugar. Also known as the “tree of life”, coconut is thought to have originated between India and Malaysia. This powder comes from coconuts grown on the island of Sri Lanka. When ripe, the coconuts are picked before being oven-dried and then grated.
Grated coconut is a basic ingredient in Asian, African, Indian and South American cuisines. Sri Lanka provides soil and climate conditions that give it its pronounced, naturally fruity taste.
INGREDIENTS: Ceylon grated Coconut. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF OTHER SHELLED FRUITS.
