Our Extra Fig Jam from Provence is made from organic black Bourjassotte figs from Solliès in France. The jam is then made in an open copper cauldron pot. These figs are harvested in the French department of Var and are chosen for their fleshy, crunchy and melt-in-the-mouth texture and very fragrant flavour. There is also a hint of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla which brings a subtle flavour to this exceptional jam. The fast cooking process and high fruit content in this jam keeps in all the aromas and flavours of the fruit.
Our organic fig jam from Provence is perfect spread on toast, melba toast or pancakes for breakfast or for a snack. It also goes great with cheese.
