The “cristal” pepper is named after its thin, soft flesh. It can only be harvested from the sunny region of Navarre. These peppers are roasted over beech wood, peeled by hand, and then prepared with Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a fragrant variety of olive that blends perfectly with the slightly sweet flavour of the Cristal Pepper. These delicate peppers have the strong flavour of a roasted pepper with a slightly sweet note.
When heated, they go perfectly with meat and fish dishes. They are also delicious with fried eggs. You can also enjoy them straight from the jar.
